Position Summary:
The Data Administrator is a new role in the Quality & Innovation division, supporting EJHS in
understanding key information regarding individuals who are utilizing our services to address their needs.
The Data Administrator will support the tracking of outcomes-based metrics for programs in areas such
as homelessness, crime, low employment and academic success, mental illness, addiction, trauma and
discrimination. They will use their social science data skills to support the work of the Programs
department by providing strong, consumable data, new research, and environmental scans to ensure the
best service for clients.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the program databases
• Review and gather aggregate data reports from program databases
• Complete routine and ad hoc statistical reports for identified programs within required timelines
• Enter timely information in database ticketing systems
• Assist with maintaining quality assurance procedures
• Assist with research which supports program delivery methods and comparative outcomes with
similar programs delivered by the agency
• Provide training and support for programs staff on data entry and management processes
• Identify gaps in data entry, communicate gaps with database liaisons, and provide
recommendations for improvement
• Assist with obtaining stakeholder feedback through surveys, interviews, and focus groups
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data management
• Contribute to a positive culture by assisting and supporting colleagues as needed

Qualifications / Skills:
• Post-secondary degree in Human Services
• Education and/or experience in community services and programs would be an asset
• Additional credentials through an evaluation association are an asset
• Minimum 1 year experience in database management and reporting
• Experience working with social services databases is an asset
• Above average computer and database knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools
• Demonstrated ability of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to contribute to project deliverables
• Proven ability to work independently and contribute to the success of a team
• Proven critical and analytical thinking abilities
• Proven ability for written and verbal communication
• Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive data
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Conditions of Employment:
• The hours of work are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
• The expectation is that the successful candidate will work at home for most of the time with
about 5% to 20% of the time in the office at Transition Place (#401, 10010 – 105 Street). Parking
is not included.
• The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check, Enhanced
Reliability, and Child Intervention Check
• Immediate start date. This competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $76,000 per year.
